The County Fair

Do you remember that house we bought back in the Spring?

The cute yellow one with the white trim and the red door?

Yeah, that one.

Well, there's one bad thing about it.

The county fair grounds are across the road from our house! 

So, for the past two days, I have been watching them assemble carnival rides.  And let me tell you, it looks like hard work.  Some of those rides come completely apart and are packed into semi trailers.  I'm glad I'm not having to work out there in the heat!

Now, I'm just dreading the next few days until the fair is over.  There will be too many people in my front yard, too late at night. 

Oh well, at least the funnel cakes won't be too far away!
